Project Dashboards

OVERVIEW

Each section of your project can display a useful out-of-the-box Dashboard! We took the My Day Dashboard concept and expanded it to the Project level, providing the project details you care about most in one spot. Dashboards are useful for seeing trends, summarized data, and project information in an at-a-glance display. You have the ability to configure these various Dashboards using readily available components and widgets.

PROJECT Dashboards

Managing Project Dashboards

  1. Navigate to Cloud Coach Admin.
  2. Click into the ‘User Interface’ tab.
  3. Select the sub-tab called ‘Project Setup.’
  4. Click into a Project Setup you would like to configure. Either by using the Organizational Wide Default, an existing Project Setup, or creating a new Project Setup (This is also where an Admin can toggle off any sections of a project they do not wish to use internally or externally on the External Project View.)
  5. Select any available Project tab along the top and toggle on the Internal Dashboard option. Note: You will be able to do this for ANY section within your project app as long as that project section is turned on.
  6. Click on the ‘Configure‘ button.

      7. Drag, drop, and resize any of the readily available components and widgets on the left-hand side to create a Dashboard for this Project Setup! Note:                  You can also create custom Lightning components to include in your Dashboards.                                                                                                                                      Visit this article for more information: Custom Widgets for Dashboards

Associating Dashboards with Projects

  1. Once finished creating one or more Dashboards, navigate to your project in the Projects tab.
  2. Click Project Setup or the ‘Gear’ icon at the top of the page.

      3. Find the section that is called ‘Settings‘ in the Project Setup modal and search for the Project Setting you created and then save.                                                4. Now by navigating to the Project tabs in which you added a Dashboard, you should see your new masterpieces!
